INSTM is a Consortium of Italian Universities with the goal to promote research activities in the field of Chemistry of Materials INSTM is an original bottom-up aggregation of researchers, which has a minimum of bureaucratic structure, and efficiently coordinates the activities, promotes the joint participation of INSTM groups to Italian and European projects, is active in technology transfer, also establishing spin-off enterprises, takes care of the training aspects in Materials Science and Technology.


Leader of Task: 8.7.

Synthesis of powders, nanostructured materials, electrolyte and barrier layers. Characterization of materials. Design and develop new PV/EC window products, especially if complying with the requirements to become a constructive element to be used in public buildings. Such requirements are: mechanical resistance, thermal isolation, glare/solar control, water proof, aesthetic and shading. Special attention will be paid to the optimization of the energy generation.
